Obviously though, as they can’t check the DRM 😊

And it’d be so simple. Just like you said. But that would hurt sales and help you not to clutter your lib and poorer ppl get cool games too.
Sigh…

Ahhh makes sense. As I never really used it it vanished off my radar. And rarely things get better than worse 🥴

Oh is that so? actually never bother witu the sharing, was adamant that it was account, not game-restricted. OK even better then. Still far from optimal. You can’t just gift a game away you don’t want to play anymore. That would be big.

So, you’re saying porn is the ultimate culprit? Because without porn we’d probably still be on 1Mbit or so

True. Wouldn’t even color gog evil at all. No DRM and it “conservated” old stuff. Buy game, own game. Even if gog is gone tomorrow, as long as you downloaded all your stuff, it’s still yours.

Yes absolutely. Hence my closing sentence. As long as they remain a private company, all will probably be smooth. But thinking of how shit will go south with light speed once Gaven clocks out…I don’t wanna think about it.

Kinda. Unless it’s excluded. And if family member x plays one of my games, I cannot play a game or else they’d get kicked. Better than nothing though.

Aye. The last one was okay-ish (for a free thing) even though it sucked.
But do w1 or w2. W1 preferred, as this one aged the worst.

And I boycotted steam’s avidly for the first years because I knew what will happen and how they will kill physical games and the 2nd-hand-market (and the lending of games) for the poorer.
Caved in with left4dead2 finally and am now at like 20k games. And was right. Both markets are basically dead and I joined the devil.
At least, as long as they’re not going public, they enrich gaming a bit, as they’re not just a sales-platform like epic.
I retired at 25…25yrs ago. It’s kinda the same, except the IRS doesn’t hassle us 😁
Aren’t the first and last one mutually exclusive? And with the ultimate luck aura, the weather should already always be my favourite?
Here are really good picks and totally worthless ones. So I’d go with luck, health and animal talk.

Guess You were part of a tiny minority that slowly became a less tiny minority. But hey, I’m optimistic that it might help kill their reputation and sales. But…

EA? This company most people boycott now? Color me surprised…
…and the very likely tons of DLCs…can’t think they gonna miss out on that.
But yeah, my days of being an early-adopter are long gone. Wait a year or more and the game is as patched as it gets, has all DLCs included, got discounted or even bundled, my PC is probably double of what it was on release day, and the cherry on top: mods are settled.

There is more than consoles… There always were indie-games. Just maybe not on every console. I could name a ton of excellent AAA from the good-old-times.
That’s what smart homes are invented for. We have like 40 light switches plastered all over and also automatic light that follows where we are whenever it’s too dark.
If we go on holiday we often run into doors and walls because we simply untrained ourselves hitting switches 😁

AAA titles made by corporations
arebecame the trashiest of them allBe fair. It was better many moons ago. And still valid for (many) non-US AAA.
I don’t have an account on any of those platforms. Also, obviously, never use them.
So…🤷🏻
