Capitalism has always been like this to one degree or another. Maybe its inherent cruelty is affecting more people than it ever has, but it has always been cruel to poor and marginalized groups.

Capitalism only cares about money.

Hostile infrastructure, intended to heap misery upon the most miserable among us. We punish people who should be helped, and help people who should be punished. What a backwards world.

I played Evergrace at my cousin’s house. I have such fond and vivid memories from that game. But when I went back to play it as an adult, I realized that it’s kind of terrible.

No compromises with fascists.

UBI is a concession to capitalists. It pacifies the working class while maintaining the system that oppresses us. At best, it’s a band aid. We need full blown socialism. Not “Democratic socialism”, real socialism, in which the workers own and control the means of production. That is the only path to working class liberation.
