Unless the fascists are able to edit the votes. But that would also be on escalation.
But voting alone may not be safe, if you are dealing with fascists as they will be ready for escalation(may even be wishing for it). You would need your own orgs, preferably communist/socialist orgs since they were one among the most effective against fascists based on history.
Voting can work as a piece of momentum-building for a principled leftist party. Voting for fascists like the democrats can never be part of opposition to fascism.
