I mean… I was raised up with constant fear of angering God. I don’t know if that’s different…
It’s one part to scare a child with monsters (surely also abuse), but it gets a whole lot worse when you scare the child like that at the point where it already cries and needs support. That’s kind of the worst thing that you can do.
I don’t know what you experienced, but I hope it was not that bad.
Well, God had erased cities, drown everyone on earth once because fuck it, had a special torture place for unbaptized babies and if I cursed I would go to hell (also known as a not-fun zone). For as much I was told that Jesus loved me, his dad seemed to be kind of sadistic.
That said, when I kind of put 2 and 2 together, I started cursing like a sailor for quite awhile (maybe even too much).
It isn’t. People who do that to children are monsters and have no place in civilized society.
