To be fair, I do wear loafers and such quite a bit at work, but I do wear sneakers when I work out, and those use laces.

What keeps you from playing around with music these days?

A combination of factors… I don’t really think I have a passion for playing music at all; I don’t think I ever did. I just played music to play, and while it was fun, it was never something I cared too much about. I love music, but I love listening and thinking about music much more than I do actually playing or making it myself.

That being said, I basically stopped entirely when I moved for university. My trumpet stayed behind with my philharmonic band and my guitar and bass gathered dust while I did other things I was enjoying more at the time.
