The situation is: I might be tempted to watch a movie to find out what happens, but if I know what happens, that particular appeal is not there. I still might go see the movie, but I have one fewer reason to do so.
And I’m kind of in the middle on this. There are spoiler-paranoiacs that seemingly ONLY watch things to see what happens, and, frankly, I wish they’d limit themselves to watching sports because writers and producers twist their stories into incomprehensible knots trying to keep these people guessing (looking at you, Westworld Season 2+).
