Right … no need to grow it. You can just attach some fake hair.

Exactly, but even so, it’s an actors job, many lose weight, gain muscle, grow hair, lose hair, all the time for the role. Such a strange thing to be angry about, let the actors decide themselves lmao. What’s with the new trend of people getting offended on behalf of others?

If Christian Bale wants to make himself look like Skeletor for a role, that’s his choice.

It’s ok if they do it. It’s not ok to be mad if they don’t go far enough. Are you going to cripple the house actor for realisms sake?

Creating these demands and expectations is not ok.

You are forgetting that acting is a job. One the actors have the freedom to decide and negotiate their terms.

It’s perfectly reasonable for a character to have armpit hair, even if that personally offends you.

The actor can decide what to do with the director or whomever. You dont need to project your own opinions onto some random actor, they have their own.

Also, it is absolutely fucking okay to expect consistency in a film/show.

I don’t expect them to have shaven armpits. I do not care either way. It’s a weird thing to notice anyway.
