To be succinct and private… My incubator worked me for weeks to build rapport and trust with me in my younger days, to get me to tell her a something that she would ultimately, and immediately use and weaponize against me and others.

This wasnt the first time I tried to have a relationship with her, but it did finally open my eyes and become the last. In the many many decades since, I’ve not so much as acknowledge her existence when crossing paths.

    There are so many things.

After I was in a car accident in college, my mom convinced me that it was too risky to take my car to a shop in the city where I lived, so I let her take it to her own mechanic.

Months went by, and every time I asked about it, she claimed it was still at the shop and she had no idea why it was taking so long.

After I lost both my jobs because I didn’t have reliable transportation, I found out that my mom hadn’t taken my car to the shop.

She had been letting my younger brother, who still lived at home, drive my (unrepaired!) car to community college so she didn’t have to give him a ride.

I think it was mostly laziness on her part.

She always said that if we wanted to go to college, we had to do it all ourselves, because she wasn’t going to help.

When my bro was in high school, he took the bus. Starting community college meant she’d have to drive him or buy him his own car, which I’m sure she didn’t want to do.

But, you’re right, she might also have resented that my dad bought me a car .

She’s such a bizarrely dishonest person, it’s difficult to understand her motivations.
