While I absolutely agree we deserve the truth about McConnel, didease-ridden mystery meat is far more likely to have an immediate impact on the lives of everyday Americans
I think conning voters is just as relevant and likely to cause problems as dodgy meat. I can avoid meat products. I can’t stop politicians doing shady stuff if we don’t all pay attention together.
I completely agree. I’m just saying the insidious follow on effects to conning voters (while more serious and dangerous) are less tangible to average Americans than knowing whether to avoid meat or not, from where, and what the consequences of getting it wrong are. I’m slightly more concerned over whether my lasagna for dinner tonight is going to put me in the hospital than the GOP continuing to lie to the American people. The real answer is the 24hr media cycle absolutely has time to cover both topics in depth, and they should be doing so. The role of the media is to help hold those in power accountable, and we’re seeing a historic failure of that right now.
It’s not just meat
Unfortunately there is no way around eating the mystery meat.
I’m beginning to think there is no meat issue and all this is to spread FUD and what not, smoke and mirrors for something else. Plus it can drive prices up further. Who am I kidding it’s probably all of the above.
Unless the disease-riddled mystery meat is Mitch “Big Mac” McConnell
