Can someone explain this to me? Are they the one giving the lecture or are they attending a lecture? What does “posted up” mean and how does it compare to “posted down”? Did smoking keep him upright as if propped up with a post like Mitch may need if giving a lecture on the Senate floor. Do they have lectures on the Senate floor?
They are the one giving the lecture. Probably motionless (except the head / eyes of course). Hands never once left the sides of the podium.
