i regularly forget that france is not turkiye so having this map really clears things up for me
In certain areas of Germany this map can be useful as a reminder.

That’s not so hard to remember! In France, turkey is called “dinde,” derived from “d’Inde” (“of India”), which is much farther east than Türkiye. So just remember that in France, Türkiye = India.
