The Beatles are alright.
They just sound boring to younger people because they were so influential, their work got incorporated into all of pop music.
I don’t personally hate them but my college roommate did because he thought they were boring.
Even if you don’t grasp the context of the times, it’s insane to call them “boring” unless they never listened past “A Hard Days Night” or “Help!”
Even those are only “boring” because they were so groundbreaking and influential
Right, they aren’t boring by any means, it’s just before they started getting really experimental.
Though they were smoking TONS of weed during Help! and you can def tell that something was different imo. Meeting with Bob Dylan fundamentally changed them.
