    I’ve been here since I was 9, so not technically Scottish, no. I get that Scots is an abbreviation of Scottish, but in this context it clearly refers to the language/culture of the same name. I assumed you were a Canadian or American, which is why I gave the history lesson.

      In what context? You pulled me up for saying ‘Gaelic is a Scots language’ when calling it ‘Scots Gaelic’ is valid and distinguishes it from Irish.

      And FYI its as Canadian as it is Scots so leave them be.
