If I write a letter to my friend and send it via snail mail, my expectation is not for it be taken open read by some random guy and go through it, innit?
I mean, not legally, but you should still assume that.
Anything truly secret should be communicated in ways that can’t be naively caught.
Like trusting something much faster and harder to catch than a snail.
Unless, y’know, it’s that snail and you’re trying to hide your message from that immortal guy
