Wait, you found a new desktop in 2023 with only 4 gigs of ram? I didn’t even think they made them with that little. Super budget ewaste tier laptops maybe, but desktops?
It was a $400USD lenovo budget desktop, so you can probably do the math on why there was so little ram. I’m pretty sure they designed it specifically for running things like an office suite and other low resource intesive software.
No slight against lenovo, but I’m positive it was meant to be for light work and I just used it for more than I should have.

Thought about it, and around 2021 and not 23 when I got it. So still doesn’t make a super huge amiunt of sense, but whatever.
