During the second half of the 20th century, the Cold War brought the clash between capitalism and socialism to Latin America.

Several governments resorted to repression against social, political, and guerrilla movements. Disappearances, detentions, torture, assassinations. Illegal actions left unpunished. In Mexico, this was known as The Dirty War.

The War in Chiapas draws inspiration from this historical context to tell a fictional story based on real conflicts. It’s a strategy and stealth videogame that seeks to reflect on these dark chapters of our history.
