Visual Novels or Otome like Norn 9, Steins Gate, Chaos Child, Amnesia, Over Requiem Z and so on. are originally written and developed in Japanese first before localization into English. Since the original language is from the author’s true words while a localization is based on someone else’s interpretation (basically its like reading two different books even though it’s the same thing).
