    If they would get rid of these terrible open plan offices, where people can hear the silent fart you try to squeeze out gently, and go back to offices where you at least would have a smidgen of privacy, this would improve office attendance.

      While some part of me misses my fortress cubicle and undershelf lamp, complete with pillar obstructing the window so I had just two vertical slits…

      I still only did good work there when I was alone in the office, usually before or after most people’s office hours.

      Once enough people showed up it just became a daily social event ritual. This was well before covid.
