I understand you, you are a normal person so the idea of using two megayacht at the same time sounds off but that’s what billionares do. Many of them move around the whole fleet and jump from one ship to the other as it please them. The megayachts are operated by hundreds of workers.
Gonna have to ask you for a source on that.
Also, as stated, he’d have to own 5000 of them to even reach 1% of global emissions. I genuinely could not care less about this non-issue.
ETA: On the off-chance that he did indeed own 5000 megayachts, I checked: he owns 6.
That, assuming all of them run around the clock at 1000 gallons maximum consumption rate, makes his contribution to total carbon emissions ~0.001%.
Impressive for a single man, but not even close to me giving a fuck and not considering you hella weird, and probably simply envious, for caring this much.
Also there are a total of 800 megayachts in the world, so even combined and running full tilt around the clock, all megayachts combined get to ~0.16% of global emissions with your 1000 gallons of fuel figure.
So yeah, you can, in fact, stop spamming, and caring, about the megayachts.
It’s really not a big fucking deal.
