Started out as this weird Valve portal themed Minecraft game thing were I was trying to jump out of bounds.

Anyway Athena the Cat eventually showed up and her tail fell off, but she still had her tail, with her having an extra stump thing nearing the end. Dreams are weird.

You know that thing where some lizards have tails that pop off and then they twitch around? Picture that, but with a cat tail.

So you have this cat tail looking worm thing flailing around with Athena chasing it down and pouncing on it.

Under suggestion from my sibling I pull out my trusty Dell Inspiron 700m and try looking up “cat false tail” or something into the search engine. Cue the obligatory “Computers don’t respond to inputs correctly in dreams”.

Now I this was approaching my normal wakeup time so the whatever part of my brain that does the “Wait no having a cat flailing around is pretty unnerving actually” thing was brought up.

So I come across the tail again, this time with me going “Euuuugh! DO NOT WANT!”.

My left elbow brushed up against something, which I initially thought was the tail. That spooked me enough to wake up doing a bit of a scream thing.

…Nice to know my Dell Inspiron 700m has made a nice impression on my subconscious I guess? Ngl it’s a pretty solid netbook. Haven’t used it in a few years. Got it in like-new condition in the mid-to-late 2010s, but I wore it out and retired it. Ran Linux on it most of that time (which was slow but serviceable), then Windows Vista for old windows software and the Qualcomm BREW SDK.

No blood in the dream though. Even if there was my dreams have extremely muted colors. The best way I can describe it is the color grading decisions in Call of Duty World at War?
