Three counts accuse Moss of using his official position for personal gain. The indictments allege he used a fraudulent abandoned-title process to obtain ownership of a Buick Verano, BMW 330i and Kawasaki motorcycle.

The other three counts allege computer tampering involving confidential information. According to the indictments, Moss accessed an Alabama Criminal Justice Information Center-related computer system without authorization or beyond his permitted use to obtain nonpublic license-plate or vehicle-identification information involving a Kawasaki motorcycle, GMC Terrain and Ford F-150.
