You know what? Fair! I’m also guilty of generally not liking something, experiencing something related to it and just completely forgetting the association when I end up liking it. Kiki’s Delivery Service is my personal fave, so when you get the chance I really hope you enjoy!
I agree with what the other person said. You might click more with seinen anime, which tend to include much more adult oriented conflicts. But if you enjoy interpersonal drama/romance though, josei anime is extremely underrated since it’s usually aimed towards women.
