Definitely true! But when people say this they generally are playing on a false moral sin for Marxists to use items made under capitalism, as though Marxism is a religion.
It’s also used to claim under socialism there would be no innovation (there were literally no technological advancements until Adam Smith invented competition in 1776) and that the iPhone is the pinnacle of human ingenuity.
