That annoys me when cars clearly have the right of way or stop before I’m even close to crossing the road. They could be already past by the time I get there, but they stop anyway. If you keep driving and I keep walking nobody will disturb the other.
Yeah, I’m a little torn between both sides. It can be more efficient when cars take the right of way, but pedestrian safety is absolutely more important than efficiency.
