Probably not. It’s an Apple thing that comes with iCloud. iPhones aren’t very popular here but maybe someone else can recommend generic/Android/Windows/Linux equivalents

• password generator, including family sharing and cross device sharing. I believe even cross device passkeys but I’ve never tried
• “Hide my email” generates a unique forwarding email per site
• “private relay” maps me to a general location not tied to my mobile vendor

Whether through an app or web browser on any Apple or windows device, it autofills a login with unique generated email, unique generated password or passkey, and anyone trying to find my location through my connection will get a regional answer

For example, my login here is a unique address not used anywhere else and not tied to me any other way.

You’re using very secure options for a few specific areas, but security is about being systematic and comprehensive. There’s a lot of complexity, so a lot of potential holes. You probably don’t need better security on the places you already make good choices, you need to find a way to cover more possibilities.

If you’re talking about cloud accounts, there’s not much else you can do: it’s al up to the vendor.

Minor possibility: I use unique generated email addresses/usernames, in addition to unique generated passwords or passkeys. There’s authentications are hard to guess, different at every site, intruders can’t even easily connect my accounts at different cloud vendors

Video camera and small claims court? At some point it turns into harassment or invasion of privacy. With a video (and a lot of luck) you may be able to establish who the pilot is and when the actions become intrusive

Upvote for the rice cooker. A real game changer. Rice may not be that hard to make but you have to pay attention. So much better to have the rice maker handle it while you pay more attention to everything else

For cases where I’ve seen this and know the answer, you nailed it. No bake whatever are even easier to make and not as rich. I don’t know if anyone actually prefers them but people seem to prefer making them and some people feel less guilty eating them

It can be easy to misalign the trap so it drips. Maybe this was long term, but if the upstream side were the misaligned piece it could have been a problem all along but not drip until the slow drain backed up far enough

If you’re in reasonable shape and have the right attitude, regular parkour can be fantastic. My kids had a blast taking parkour classes at local playgrounds: think “the floor is lava” applied to fences, benches, playground equipment.

You do have to be prepared for some painful falls though, even from ground level.

That really needs to change also. That made sense back when it was just recording something in public that a random officer could have seen, but it’s no longer the same thing. No police force could have such large scale comprehensive surveillance and recording based on what an officer could have seen in public .

The fact that you could even have an officer overstep his authority to stalk someone one nationwide for personal reasons, is not just a failure of privacy safeguards, but proof that large scale surveillance is not the same as “what any random officer could have seen”

No it’s just predatory. As long as students believe college is essential and that is the only way to get it, the loans are predatory. It doesn’t help teens to understand if they don’t have a choice.

As someone who cares about my society, I believe it is essential for all students to have access to post-high school education, and as more than just job training. We need more people who can think better …. It’s in our own best interest to invest in our future: let’s make public universities/trade schools free to all who are interested
