I hated reading 1984 because I knew it was saying a very true, gross thing about humanity.
Same with Dune but I mostly had fun reading that one lol.
I live in Canada and I’ve gone to the emergency room for a pretty mild eyelid infection before because I wanted to be sure it wasn’t cellulitis and couldn’t get in at the walk in clinic because I work nights and you have to go really early in the morning (appointments at my family doctor typically take like 2-3 weeks at least). It’s nuts, what the US has going on (with regards to more than just healthcare but ce n’est pas le place)
