The extent of the community depends on the context. I think most Americans when they hear the word would think of the people in their neighborhood or town. But it can mean any group of people, like a university, the LGBT community within a city, an internet fandom message board, etc. When a politician or elected official is saying “community” without prefacing specifically what community, they are probably referring to someone’s local town or neighborhoods.

Argosy has to be vibe coded because while the UI appears very polished it is the most confusing and inconsistent piece of software I’ve ever used.

I love Low Tech magazine! I have been reading them for years.

CWA largely removes the need for running Calibre.

I use CWA for the main book “hub” and upload everything (audiobooks and comics too) to it. Then I have audiobookshelf scan the calibre directory, and Komga do the same because the app I use for comics (cdisplayex) doesn’t sync with Koreader yet.

On the client side I use Koreader, Lissen and Cdisplayex.

It works fine but it would be nice to have one app that syncs all progress. And my holy grail is one that can sync ebook and audiobook progress like Amazon’s whispersync!
