Good time to check the backlog of older games in your library and just be ok with the reality that your main pc can’t run modern games anymore. Also I turned 2 of my older pc’s to linux machines. Ubuntu lts (12gb ram minipc) and mint cinnamon (4gb ram laptop). Those old machines just got a new life and can still run renpy, rpg maker, html games etc. Also I’m checking second hand market for a little bit better laptop (gonna install mint in it).

Just started Morrowind first time. I browsed the mod section in GOG and saw that there is Tamriel Rebuilt and OpenMW available as one click mods. Then I saw that I own Morrowind (Prime deal) even though the GOG store says I don’t own it. I downloaded all 3 (plus Tamriel HD textures) and just clicked Tamriel Rebuilt play button and the modded version works well. Also you can change the small fonts bigger in the Tamriel Rebuilt settings (openmw launcher). Modding has never been easier.

I’ve only played Fable 2 and 3 and the thing that I remember the most was the marriage/family and upgrading business/house systems. And your wife would get mad if you didn’t support the family enough or were cheating around. Simple mechanics but they were there.

Epic was actually the publisher (So no Steam) and gave Remedy free hands in development and funding. It took some time but the game is now making profit. Epic takes 50%.
