At this stage of AI advancements and industry adoption, I believe most newly released games that have opted to not disclose the use of AI are lying. And steam’s choice of what constitutes AI contributions are misleading, most people don’t know that not having an AI disclosure doesn’t mean no AI use What-so-ever. As the article states AI code doesn’t need to be disclosed, which is the component of the game that has seen the the most migration towards AI.

I don’t know what role that AI disclosure plays anymore. especially when steam itself doesn’t verify publishers claims. I think it’s there just to please steam fans and maintain that cool kid aura.

Add to that, I have a hunch that a good chunk of people who are the most vocal against AI heavily use AI themselves. like game devs using ai to produce music, and musicians use AI to make posters, and novelists using AI to illustrate their works, many people call for solidarity against AI to save their professions while using AI to replace other professions.

If malicious bot traffic came-out of Yandex’s data centers, its legitimated traffic would be blocked everywhere and yandex wouldn’t have been able to operate such a successful business. There are hundred’s of services that track illegitimate and dangerous bot traffic, such databases are use to block malicious crawlers, bot nets, spam bots, email spams, phishing websites, websites distributing viruses … Yandex can’t afford to allow such activities from its networks.

Just because Ukraine is the victim it doesn’t mean we should spread fake news propaganda. They failed to produce any tangible evidence, and after many sources started debunking the claims and proving the base material to be AI generated. they brought in Zelensky to give it more credibility. it is disheartening to see such fake news rise at the forefront of social media sites. and be upvoted by the masses that on other occasions were championing the fight against fake news. But as long as it fits their narratives, it is good to pass.

They don’t want the stories of the Israeli atrocities commited in Gaza to be leaked to the world.
