Remember when TikTok was just porn in western children frontpages? That’s my expectation, along with all the right wing loonies ironically setting up camp there and not realizing they’re being used, by the Chinese, which btw, they will then love.

I have a switch2 since launch, and had no idea this was a contending point.
Personally I pay between 7€ and 11€ a year for the subscription and am fine with all that it brings.
They love their games and want to hate on it anyway. I really don’t get the mindset.
It has nothing to do with reproduction, “normal” people aren’t reproducing already… This is a social and isolation issue, people have needs that a non judging sycophantic AI will feed into.
I’m quite surprised that someone would feel so strongly otherwise and would bet a large amount of money that in 20 years people will not be judging just like they did computer nerds, games, cellphones, internet, social networks, etc…
There’s a lot of stuff that we do today that the same people doing it considered pathetic in the 90s.
I have no doubt that AI relationships will be completely normalised and not much different from the movie Her.
His conclusions were incredibly prescient. With each year they seem truer.
I love this tech, just wish they would make independent of any corporation, just an I/O with standards to connect to your service of choice.
