I’ve seen the word thrown around a lot in a few places and had to spend sometime searching wtf it was. I still don’t really understand but the wikipedia is a good place to start.

It really depends on the phone quality. I don’t know how this one will behave, but I have for example a phone just that was just a bit more expensive and almost every week hits the floor at least once. It’s now 2 and half years old and there’s only a few bumps in the corners.

It really depends on what security level you want out of a phone. Most people are concerned with a pickpocket stealing and being able to access everything. Most of the world doesn’t need the security level required to pass through the united states border control. Which they will just force to put the pin anyways or put you in jail for even having a secure device.

And people also don’t understand the difference between a non profit managed in good will by people and a capitalist saas provider that has billions to spend in hundreds and hundreds of people to maintain an ever growing central place to host all corporate interests.
