What makes you suspect that people up voting a) agree with the sentiment rather than just finding it to be a good/entertaining fit for a memes community, and b) that those people include a representative sample of parents?

I’m in a blue pinprick in a red state and all my family and all the surrounding towns are deep red even after Trump 2.0. I’m not sure they actually support the policies and positions but it’s what they THINK their position is and it’s what their “identity position” is (my dad was a Republican and his dad was a Republican and I’m a Republican). It’s tough. I would love to move but it’s easier to move TO something than from it.

Yeah the problem is they also don’t tell us the load during the flight. From the lift equation (let’s be hand wavey) if they’re a similar size to a regional jet (same planform area) your heavy lift is better driven by speed than lifting coefficient. Of course, it’s hard to go fast with electric props, so I wonder if a safe ceiling is probably 400Kt 300Kt?

No way. The speed record for a prop aircraft currently stands at about 300Kt. If we use that generously our new ceiling is lower.

Actually, practically, there will be people in this thread who can’t conjugate verbs or spell and it’s not because they speak a different language, not because auto correct isnt working, and not anything else. It’s from being lower on the bell curve.
