I live in an apartment and can neither charge at home nor at work. I just charge when I go grocery shopping. It’s absolutely viable.

Yeah, that statement makes little sense in context of ICE, but the point does kinda work for EV. Ideally, outside of road trips, you wouldn’t go to designated charging areas, but just charge where you’re going anyway. I usually charge at a supermarket

You can charge at gas stations, but why would you? Around here, there are cafes, restaurants, and supermarkets with fast chargers.

We don’t, I charge while shopping most of the time.
Many charge in 15 min. Mine takes 20 min to charge. Who the fuck charges for several hours?
