everything from your car to your TV to your coffee maker has an embedded microprocessor in it now. I think embedded software is a safe bet

tbh, most of those uses prioritize being cheap over anything else and doesn’t really make a lot of money. mostly already developed with cheap labor in china/india/etc…

i highly doubt investing in old mainframe stuff is a good idea long term

i believe the links were posted somewhere public… even if it’s that google i highly doubt they would put things from people’s browsing history or mailbox onto public search index

you gotta subscribe to a LOT of communities to get a somewhat active feed

ubuntu just feels like debian with unwanted mods on top. if some specific proprietary sw you need only support ubuntu officially then ubuntu’s the better choice, but if not i see no reason to use it tbh

maybe. but imo extreme wealth hoarding is usually only possible/successful by people with little empathy who exploit others around them
