At the beginning the project was heavily inspired by Linkding. If you were to pull an early version of PdfDing you would find that the UI is very similar to Linkding. That was also the reason why I named the project PdfDing. By now the UI is totally different and only the name remains.

Edit: At least once the workflow has run
It is possible to ingest PDFs via a consume folder. However consuming the files will cause them to be deleted. So I don’t think this will be very helpful in your case. There is however a bulk upload feature in the UI, which allows uploading may PDFs at once.
