I can’t remember which game it was now, but I’ve definitely played some indie game that has fake load screens because I remember someone modded them out and asked the dev why they existed, and the response was that the dev found the instant transition between scenes jarring. It’s not crazy to think Big N would do the same thing.

I changed majors to anthropology because I hoped that it would help me understand humans and therefore myself. Now I know a lot more about how much I don’t know, and every job in the field has hyper specific requirements that make it seem like they were written to guarantee the PI’s grad student gets the position.

I don’t like to say “good person” and “bad person” because I feel like it implies that there is some objective scale of goodness that people can be compared to, and I think that is simply not the case. So I would rather think of this question as “Do you have a positive opinion of yourself?”
