I think it’s great that you are doing this series.

I still go back for a couple of niche communities like Unraid. You can certainly see fall in quality content and genuine user trends (remember the giant canvas, button, safe some guy was going to open, etc.?).

The quality has certainly gone down.

I think Reddit lost many of its most active users.

I still go back for a couple of subreddits like Unraid. Outside those niche communities, there is a lot less user generated trends and memes.

Anybody remember the button or the giant canvas? Haven’t seen anything like that since the purge.
