I read this book this week called Oops I accidentally ate a vengence demon and there is a character who died as a toddler by drowning in the tub and then her mom went insane and used necromancy to bring her back and it went awry. She went through necrosis and by the time they figured out how to stop her from progressing, all that was left was her bones. So she is a walking skeleton with an illusion on her at all times.
