I’d rather money not be involved. There’s plenty of people willing to release good content regardless. I’d actually say YouTubes monetization is what made it shitty
But there really aren’t. They would be all over the free platforms that have existed for years. But Peertube is nearly bereft of quality content, there are maybe a dozen regular creators that make anything interesting enough to 50% of the population to watch.
No money means no videos. That’s just facts, you can bitch moan and cry if you want. But till money gets involved your not going to see anything actually meaningfully grow.
Video production is just too costly to produce even on a hobbyists level. Either in time or money.
