TL:DR AMDGPU driver started crashing on latest kernel release, it’s reoccurring bug, somewhat of 12309 for amd. It was fixed multiple times and known as:
And after googling if someone also have that bug, I found post on Fedora community site, where first comment not directly about solving a bug, but “akshually” from some nerd. (bug haven’t been solved, but at least nerd shown who is the boss)
God I hate linux community.
Why do you think the dev (who very well may be unpaid, this is an open-source driver) owes you a solution?
Would you milk a cow for an entire community for free? Would you charge money? How much? If someone didn’t like the milk, would you ask why?
That the most stupid thing I read today, thank you
Yes, sure, dev doesn’t owns me “a solution”. Nor respect. Nor do I. So go fuck yourself.
You don’t like that answer and you think that I should’ve keep it to myself? Well, too bad, go fuck yourself asshole, you said yourself — I or dev didn’t own you anything.
My point (cause you probably won’t understand, otherwise you wouldn’t make that stupid statement): you own to a community basic respect. It called ethics. You don’t just shit-talk (even if veidly) user that asking for help. If you not willing to help — you free to pass that thread or ignore it. That dev didn’t helped in the slightest by being jerk.
Lol somebody skipped naptime today
