TL:DR AMDGPU driver started crashing on latest kernel release, it’s reoccurring bug, somewhat of 12309 for amd. It was fixed multiple times and known as:
And after googling if someone also have that bug, I found post on Fedora community site, where first comment not directly about solving a bug, but “akshually” from some nerd. (bug haven’t been solved, but at least nerd shown who is the boss)
God I hate linux community.
Context is simple: user have GPU driver crash and considers (rightfully so) PC to be unusable, hence asks for help. There nothing else to it. I see no reason to ask this question on screenshot in that context. Unless you want to sound like a jerk, that is.
Other questions in same comment, like request to add more details or keep dmesg in “code” block — those are valid and I have no issues with that. But this first line sets the tone of the whole comment.
It’s a diagnostic/priority question why does it bother you so much? If you took your car to a mechanic and said it doesn’t work would you be insulted if they asked you if it turned on?
