alcohol prices are coming down because nobody is drinking anymore. i’ve seen scotch going back down to like 50 a bottle when it used to be 80. and some whiskeys have come down back to 30 a bottle.

i bought a bottle of High West Rye two months ago for 35 bucks, that would have been like 80 a few years ago. i stopped drinking that stuff because it go so expensive, but now it’s like cheaper than beer.

beer prices, on the other hand, are now like 20 bucks for a four pack, and even shitty light lagers are like 16. insane. the past year i have switched to only buying cheaper 4 packs or 6 packs that are 10 bucks or so, but the selection at that pricepoint is severely limited.
