Flooding is something that can happen to vehicles. It was much more common in the days of carbureted engines - it can happen with fuel infection, but it’s pretty rare. The outcome is that the engine won’t start.
People always forget that the full phrase is “fight or flight or fuckin stand there and die”
It’s fight/flight/fawn, IIRC…
Though, your “fight/flight/fuckin’” ain’t so bad a reflex suite.
