I’m planning on coming out of alcoholism retirement for 24h when that happens.
The resulting hangover should ensure another decade on the wagon.
Please don’t risk a relapse, Trump and his deranged band of loosers are not worth it.
Not everyone quits because they have a problem and will suddenly start drinking daily if they do it for one day, I just semiquit because I only drink socially and now drink maybe 12 days a year. Everytime I do drink the hangover makes me want to not drink or be social for a while. Craving alcohol has never been a thing for me, even after years of binge drinking. It always lacks appeal outside of making me feel normal in social situations.
Yup. I have no problem not drinking. It’s stopping once I’m buzzed that’s the problem. 9/10 I’m fine, but 10% of the time a switch flips and I drink everything I can get my hands on. But the next day I have no problem refraining.
Sober me isn’t an alcoholic, but tipsy me is. The main reason I quit is because I’m not able to as easily brush of my SOs subconsciously confrontational nature. That, and hangovers becoming a multi day issue.
