Is anon speedrunning scurvy?
Probably enough vitamin c in the tomato sauce to prevent that. Unless they’re big fucking cans he’s gonna be hungry as hell though.
Also, I doubt 2 weeks is a long enough period for scurvy to set in anyway
You think someone who thinks like this is eating correctly in the first place?
How many people with scurvy do you know? It’s rare.
From Scurvy - Wikipedia
Personally I’d say this person falls into the mental disorder or unusual eating habits category, but their favorite fruit could be oranges so who knows?
Nah, just Teenager. They enjoy the benefits of having parents who feed them most of the time.
I’ve heard even poor college students can avoid scurvy by adding ketchup to their otherwise exclusively noodle-based diet. Bodies are oddly resilient in some ways.
The blueprints for a healthy diet are playing hard to find
i think visible scurvy symptoms don’t set in that fast, but i still notice myself being less fit when i don’t eat vitamins even for a single day.
What does that even mean, not eating vitamins for a day? They’re kinda hard to avoid. Are you talking about skipping a multivitamin or something?
I haven’t heard that such direct vitamin sensing is a thing. At most I’ve heard of people getting appropriate cravings when they lack a vitamin, and I’m not even sure whether that’s just anecdotal or an actual effect. Which vitamin do you think you’re sensing after just one day?
I would bet that whatever you’re experiencing is either
Edit: To be clear, I absolutely expect OP to feel like shit even if he could have as much ravioli as he wanted. This is far too drastic a change, and not a super gut-friendly one, and that is ignoring that he is starving himself with only a can per day. If he didn’t return to a normal diet, he would definitely develop some lack of vitamins.
for example only eating nuts, bread and cheese for a day. no tomatoes, bell pepper, onions, lemons, etc.
i feel it mostly because my throat feels sore
Nuts have vitamins. I’m sure cheese and even bread has some too. Not the same ones as fruits and vegetables though.
But more to the point, I think that what you’re describing definitely isn’t due to vitamins. Maybe acid reflux or a food sensitivity? Ask a doctor about it if it’s a recurring problem for you.
I lived on chef b for like a year. Apparently they grow their own tomatoes.
