So they own the land, elon stole it and what did the court say??? There’s more plot holes than pot holes in california’s streets.
The land was bulldozed, turned into a gravel lot and used as a construction depot. CAH sued, and just before trial SpaceX offered them a settlement which they accepted. The exact details were confidential, but the land was finally vacated by the trespassers, and a local landscaping company removed the literal tons of gravel that had been compacted into the soil and restored it to a natural looking state.
Since they settled out of court, the case was dropped and the court didn’t say anything.
Elon didn’t steal it, but SpaceX did trespass on it with construction equipment and left it trashed. They settled out of court for an undisclosed amount.
Sounds like they annexed it into a town, too. Seems like he’s trying pretty hard to steal it, if that’s the case.
“Annexed” is an odd way for them to frame it. The property was previously outside of any incorporated cities. The city of Starbase was later incorporated and the property is in the area covered by the new city boundaries.
No it’s not, annexed is the common term for when a town expands its borders. That’s just what the word means.
