Eww… Maybe they come with free nits (headlice)? 🤔
In one case it was selected by default (“used - very good condition” for a whopping $1 discount!), so be careful to anyone reading this.

Easier said than done
It’s not. Amazon was the easiest tech to leave.
I have several disabilities, and they deliver stuff I need to my house; no questions asked, no fuss, no new accounts, no sign up form, no mailing lists I didn’t ask for, no additional data leak attack surface, no delivery fee, no weird obscure delivery service that takes 4 weeks, no difficult return process (though I wouldn’t personally return an opened pillowcase).
My next best option near me would be something like BigW. However, I just checked, and they don’t even have any pillowcases in cotton unless I go through their “marketplace” third party system. At which point it’s basically just an Amazon seller but worse.
If anything else was as convenient or good, I’d use it; believe me. But it’s just not a thing for me, in my area. Also of course I’d go shopping in person, but I can’t, for various reasons.
Yes, slavery is always convenient for the slavers and their clients. This is not news.
Framing my disabilities as an “inconvenience” that I’m too lazy to compensate for, and therefore am a “slavery client”, is very ableist. But I’m sure you already know that.
And Im sure you know that it isnt while framing me as ableist and hiding behind a disability.
I never said a disability is just an inconvenience. It is fact that Amazons practices are inhumane and the company is destroying millions of lives all over the world. Deciding to use their services to compensate for your disability is your choice and it may be more understandable than for most people without disabilities who arent even actively thinking about it and just giving in to laziness, but it is still not the morally superior one.
