    In all seriousness thank God for the Arabic number system. It would be a nightmare to use Roman numerals for math

      Base-10 is objectively terrible, though. Too many fundamental principles of geometry rely on 1:3 and 1:6 ratios that can’t be properly depicted in Base-10.

      If there were a god, they would have given us 6 digits on each hand, inspiring us to develop a base-12 number system.

        All number systems are base 10. It’s just that we define the 1 in 10 as meaning x x x x x x x x x x quantity. Binary is base 10 with 10 equating to 2 in the decimal base.
