I just view that as natural selection doing its thing. If they want to kill themselves by following what con men say, well, that’s no problem for me. But their bad choices hurt their kids and others.
If it were natural selection then killing their kids would be a feature, not a bug. But there’s no biological determinism that makes them hold the beliefs they do. They were taught to be this way, indoctrinated in many cases.
It’s your last point that gets to me.
At least they probably won’t procreate and contribute to the dumbing down.
