I’m going to be honest this sounds like it’s making fun of all the AI bros insisting we need to “pause” to consider the dangers of “superintelligent” AI while ignoring the actual problems.
Like the problem that the general public don’t believe them, and assume the performance of public accessible chat bots is representative of closed door capabilities, and dismiss the true danger in favor of instead hyperfixating on the same concerning attributes shared by every single piece of Internet-based technology, including Lemmy.
